A good friend of mine once said, "Sometimes things just need to be experienced". Well, Sun Microsystems was one of those experiences. It wasn't until www.sun.com redirected itself that I realized the true impact it had on me. At first, I wished that some hacker had broken into the network to accomplish this, but that was not the case.
I may not know what it takes to start a company, but I do know that building another "Sun" is impossible. I hope that the current ending is a Cinderella ending where the prince charming presents himself, and they live happily ever after. After all, at times, things can go wrong.
