Logic you think of it as a shift by number of letters based on value of the chess piece and position on the column. Pawn 1, Bishop and Knight 3, Rook 5, and Queen 9.
Example first column is K because the rook is in column A, row 2 so 5x2=10 means shift A 10 places to the right. The last column is also K because it's G shifted by 1x4=4
1. A shifted by 10 = K
2. B shifted by 16 = R
3. C shifted by 24 = A
4. D shifted by 9 = M
5. E shifted by 9 = N
6. F shifted by 3 = I
7. G shifted by 4 = K
